The 4th European Women’s Football Gala was not only a celebration of individual achievements but also a reflection of the progress and growing recognition of women’s football.

Originally scheduled for November, the event was postponed to December 16 due to the devastating DANA storm, which deeply affected many communities. Despite the delay, the gala brought together players, coaches, and football enthusiasts to honor the dedication and talent driving the sport forward.
The evening celebrated achievements across various categories, with some of them being:
- MVP Award: Caroline Graham Hansen for her contributions to FC Barcelona’s historic season.
- Excellence Trophy: Cata Coll, a standout goalkeeper for club and country.
- Career Award: Marta Corredera, recognized for her impactful career in football.

Racheal Kundananji moved from Madrid CFF to Bay FC for a record-breaking 750,000 euros, further highlighting the growing value and recognition of women’s football. As Santi Nolla, CEO & Director of Mundo Deportivo, stated:
“Women’s sports have taken a step forward, reaching a new level. At Mundo Deportivo, we are proud to have been part of this journey, supporting women’s football from the start and celebrating its progress today at the fourth edition of this gala.”
